Strategy

Our recently-broadened strategy is to identify, access and integrate hydrocarbon assets in known hydrocarbon basins globally. We seek to leverage our Venezuelan experience as well as our recently expanded business development and technical platform to create a diversified resource base. While exploration will become a larger part of our overall portfolio, we will generally restrict ourselves to basins with known hydrocarbon systems and favorable risk-reward profiles. We will continue to seek opportunities where perceived geopolitical risk may provide high-reward opportunities in the long term.
