Technical Capabilities
During 2006, we opened a technical office in London to provide subsurface technical support on a global basis. The technical office is staffed with experienced geoscience and engineering professionals, significantly increasing our acquisition evaluation and field development capabilities. Harvest also acquired a minority interest in Fusion Geophysical LLC. Fusion is a leading global provider of geoscience and geophysical services and has operated in most of the major oil and gas producing countries in the world. As a result of our investment in Fusion, Harvest has preferred access to Fusion's personnel and technology. The skill sets in the London office complement Fusion's experience and global reach, providing Harvest with comprehensive technical capability in geoscience, geophysics and reservoir engineering as well as operations, which positions Harvest for future growth. Access to world class skills and technology provides significant advantages in discussions with prospective partners for the exploration or development of complex fields.
